Foxtail...
It's coming along. I used garter stitch on the sleeves and the bottom so that the edges don't curl. I still have to pick up the front. I really like the yarn, it's nice and soft, but I am concerned about it pilling too much.

5 hour baby sweater
I finished something!!! I have so many projects laying around that are not finished. This is for a teacher at school. I cast on on Thursday and finished Saturday night. You can find the pattern here.
I used Plymouth Encore in a bright pink, with size 10-1/2 needles. I knit the sleeves in the round, so all I had to do was weave in the ends! No sewing seams! Now all I need to do is choose the buttons!

Finally!
Yes, I've learned how to add photos to my ravelry project page! Here's a look at my soon to be frogged Malabrigo scarf! I am currently working on this Equinox Yoke Pullover out of Rowan Yorkshire Tweed. We'll see how it turns out. I've had to make several mods since it's a very different gauge and look...

Introducing Knitter-garten!
Well, I've just discovered another way to spend more time on the internet, knitting blogs. At first, with my daughter's adoptions, I was looking at adoption related sites, then I was only checking out cooking/food sites, and now, knitting. Knitting has been a passion since I was a teen. A quiet activity to do in my room, while all the other teens were out partying. I was lucky to have easy access to the stuff, since I had a supplier, Ernel's Yarns, where I worked on Saturdays. Ernel's is now long since gone, the retired couple who started it, retired from the shop and moved away. I went on to college, and college some more, and went to teach Kindergarten. There were years with barely any knitting, but now, with my two year old daughter, I have some quick projects to knit, and I'm hooked again! So many yarns! So many projects! Where do I start?
